Draft Size Nylon Rope halter

 

(Also available in quarter horse size)

Made from 1/4 inch nylon (Not poly-propylene)  rope.

Because it is nylon, it will have a long life.  You will have to lose it or burn it to get rid of it.  It will not fray or disintegrate like the poly ropes do.

Guaranteed to fit your draft horse.

Guaranteed not to break if your horse pulls back on it.  

The small gauge rope will make a horse that pulls back very uncomfortable.  He will get tired of pulling back before it gives up.

If your horse pulls back, do not use a metal snap to hook the rope to the halter.  Use a nylon rope at least 5/8 inches thick. and tie to to the fiador knot on the halter. 

If he wants to get ahead of you, a quick snap on the rope will engage the nose band.  

Throw your strap halters in the creek and buy rope halters if you are having control issues with your horse.

   Not recommended for service.  Would look good on the wall, though.  Though there are no apparent cracks or weaknesses, the wood grain is quite visible and pronounced.  If you want to plow, buy a new one.  This is decoration.

Tether Stake

Tether Stake can be driven where ever you camp.  Horses and mules can graze while their contemporaries are tied to the trailer in camp.  The Carabineer is mounted on a swivel so that as the animal grazes around the stake, it is less likely to wrap.  This give the equine a full 30 feet of grazing area without being moved.

Shielded Tether

Shielded Tether rope.  The rope is shielded in plastic to prevent the animal getting injuries when if it wraps around their hocks.  There is a loop braided into one end to allow it to easily be attached to the tether stake and a snap on the other end to attach to the equine's halter.  The tether can be detached from the stake and the loop can be hooked on another convenient stationary object.
